The Forest Springs subdivision is located in the east end of Louisville in Jefferson County Ky. The Forest Springs neighborhood has easy access to shopping, restaurants, groceries, and expressways and is a few minutes drive to the Springhurst and The Summit shopping areas.  Forest Springs was built in two phases.  The original section of Forest Springs is off of Highway 146 at the Gene Snyder Freeway towards Pewee Valley & Anchorage.  The second section of Forest Springs is called Forest Springs North and is located on the opposite side of Highway 146 along Westport Road (towards the Springhurst area).

The newer section of Forest Springs North features newer homes that are only a few years old. The original Forest Springs neighborhood has homes that are now getting into the 12 or so years old range. Forest Springs home values generally range from the high $200,000s to the low $400,000s. The Forest Springs Swim and Racquet Club is available for a fee to residents of the Forest Springs neighborhood. It is optional to join. For those interested in joining, there is an initial membership fee of $100, and the annual dues are approximately $400 per year.
